Cairo Downtown Nile will welcome guests in January 2025
Accor will open its fourth Sofitel property in Egypt early next year, marking its largest property under the luxury brand.
The 615-key Sofitel Cairo Downtown Nile will open in January 2025 following a conversion, offering guests panoramic views of the Nile.
The hotel will have four dining venues, including riverside options, as well as a wellness centre with a spa, pool and fitness centre, and more than 2,000 sq m of events space.
As well as offering direct access to the Nile, the hotel is located near attractions such as the forthcoming Grand Egyptian Museum and the Giza Pyramids.
The hotel joins sister properties including Sofitel Cairo Nile El Gezirah, Sofitel Winter Palace Luxor and Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Aswan.
The hotel will be operated under a management agreement with the International Company for Touristic Investments.
