UAE low-cost carrier to operate four non-stop flights a week
Air Arabia will recommence direct flights between the UAE capital Abu Dhabi and Beirut in Lebanon, from January 2025.
The low-cost carrier was among the UAE airlines to suspend flights to the Lebanese capital in September 2024 following rising tensions in the region.
Starting 9 January, Air Arabia will operate four direct weekly flights between Zayed International Airport and Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport.
The reinstated service on the A320 aircraft will operate on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, departing Abu Dhabi at 08:25 and arriving in Beirut at 11:00. The return service will leave Beirut at 11:40, landing back in Abu Dhabi at 17:20.

The move comes after Air Arabia resumed daily non-stop flights between Sharjah and Beirut on 18 December 2024, and Etihad, the national airline of the UAE, recommenced its direct daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Lebanon on the same date.
From Dubai, Air Arabia flights to Lebanon remain suspended. Emirates has also grounded non-stop flights to Beirut until 31 December 2024.
“We continue to closely monitor the situation in the region and are in contact with relevant authorities regarding developments,” Emirates said in a statement.
