The kits are made from 93% recycled material and feature sustainable products
Air France has launched new eco-friendly business class and premium economy amenity kits as part of the carrier’s efforts to reduce single-use plastic on board its flights.
The new kits are secured with a tamper evident seal rather than plastic packaging and include a toothbrush and pen made from cornstarch, and ear plugs packaged in kraft paper rather than plastic.
Business class kits continue to include a sleep mask, socks, toothpaste and Clarins cosmetics, while premium economy kits include a sleep mask and socks.

Air France says that the kit bags are designed to remain in use after the flight. Business class bags comes in navy blue or grey and feature the carrier’s winged seahorse emblem, while the premium economy bag feature branding in red or blue.
In addition, the headsets used for in-flight entertainment are now systematically cleaned and disinfected, doing away with single-use headphone protectors and plastic packaging.
This week Air France also added a Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) levy to all tickets departing France.
