Ubud Bali Resort has 85 rooms and boasts ‘village vibes’
Anantara has opened a new resort north of Bali’s Ubud region, close to the traditional hillside village of Banjar Puhu in Payangan.
Offering guests ‘true seclusion and a slower pace of life’, the 85-key resort overlooks the hinterland and is a three-hour drive from Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport.
Suites offer jungle views, oversized bathtubs and private terraces, while the resort’s one- and two-bedroom villas have dedicated villa hosts and private infinity pools on the edge of forest-facing terraces.
It has a signature restaurant, an all-day-dining venue, an alfresco bar and a Lobby Lounge, while Designer Dining by Anantara offers a fully customisable experience for special occasions, with options ranging from waterfall to rice paddy dining.
Anantara Ubud Bali also has two heated swimming pools and two pool bars, a yoga deck and a gym by TechnoGym. The kids’ club features play areas for children and a dedicated zone for teens.
