CEO heralds “next chapter of growth” for global portfolio
Building on the success for Middle East openings, Banyan Group continues its growth strategy with another 15 hotel and resort openings planned in 2025, including five new branded residence developments and a number of firsts for the brand.
Founded in Singapore in 1994, Banyan Group will open its 100th resort in April in 2025 back where it all began. Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree will be the Group’s first resort-style hotel in Singapore. Located in the same wildlife reserve as Singapore’s renowned zoo, the 338-room property "embraces nature".
Eddy See, President and Chief Executive Officer, Banyan Group, said: “We are in our next chapter of growth and innovation, building momentum from the last 30 years as we enter this new phase. 2025 will continue to be a meaningful evolution of our dynamic portfolio as we plant flags in new locations in Asia and beyond.”
Other upcoming highlights include Ubuyu, a Banyan Tree Escape, Banyan Group’s first safari resort and opening in Tanzania in the relatively untouched Ruaha National Park.
In Bangkok, Banyan Group will open its first integrated development, offering accommodation, a membership club, spa and nightclub – blending work and play.

Banyan Group’s portfolio currently spans more than 20 countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
