The Venice-founded brand has been in operation for almost a century

Heritage Italian restaurant Cipriani has announced the official opening of Cipriani Doha.

Located in Doha’s prestigious West Bay area, Cipriani Doha aims to introduce the history and heritage of the four-generation family tradition of “to serve is first to love” to a new audience, along with traditional Italian recipes and Venetian specialities.

Cipriani Doha comprises an intimate bar and restaurant area with sea views and a menu offering an array of Harry's Bar classics. Upstairs is a separate lounge called Socialista, a private Cuba-inspired colourful space to provide an upbeat vibe, allowing guests to enjoy cocktails and music, and continue the Cipriani experience late into the night.

The à la carte menu is built on the concept of simple Italian food and inspired by the story of Giuseppe Cipriani Sr. A selection of signature dishes from Harry’s Bar in Venice are featured including Carpaccio 'alla Cipriani', calf’s liver 'alla Veneziana' with fried polenta, baked tagliolini with ham, Risotto “alla Primavera” and Vanilla meringue.

All dishes use seasonal, premium ingredients, many sourced from Italian farms, adding authenticity to the menu.

The restaurant is decorated in Cipriani's iconic nautical colours and features Murano glass chandeliers, a blue and white terrazzo patterned floor, high gloss wood and contemporary black-and-white fashion photography adorns the walls.
