Popular trade event will bring hundreds of luxury travel decision-makers to Muscat from 25 to 28 February
Connections Luxury, the international private community for trusted luxury travel decision-makers, will mark a decade in business with 10-year celebrations throughout 2024.
Key among the events will be Connections' popular Middle East travel trade event, Connections Luxury Middle East 2024, set to return to Muscat, Oman for a third year later this month.
Connections Luxury Middle East 2024 will take place across multiple sponsoring hotels from 25 to 28 February. As in previous years, attendees will be treated to an action-packed itinerary of exciting excursions, tours, lunches and dinners, as well as meaningful one-to-one meetings with potential partners.
The popular event attracts leading travel companies targeting luxury travellers from Arabia, Asia and Africa and provides a significant opportunity for suppliers to grow their source markets, while luxury travel designers can expand their product portfolios to offer their high-net-worth clients the chance to discover exciting new destinations.
Connections managing director Gregory Reeves said: “The Middle East is on the cusp of its Golden Age of Travel. The estimated average spend on GCC outbound travel could hit US$216 billion by 2030, with US$30 billion predicted to come from the UAE and US$27 billion from Saudi Arabia.
“Supporting this, by 2030, 61 million outbound departures are predicted with an average spend of between US$1,700 and US$3,000 per trip, and right now the GCC traveller is looking further afield, ready to explore new experiential destinations.”
