Copthorne Al Basateen Jeddah to be managed by Millennium Hotels and Resorts

Hotel group continues its expansion in Saudi Arabia

Millennium Hotels and Resorts MEA has signed a hotel management agreement for Copthorne Al Basateen Jeddah Hotel in partnership with Hussain bin Yousef bin Ali Nazra.

The new property will feature 232 rooms and 20 suites, meeting rooms, a business centre, swimming pool, gym and dining outlets.

Commenting on the announcement, Hamid Sidine, Millennium Hotels and Resorts’ COO for the Middle East and Africa, said: “This expansion comes as part of our ambitious expansion plans in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia supporting Saudi Vision 2030. We are delighted to expand in Jeddah and contribute to the city’s hospitality offerings.”

Millennium Hotels and Resorts currently operates 25 hotels under the Copthorne brand globally in Asia, Europe and New Zealand, including five hotels in the MEA region. The London hospitality group plans to add more than 5,000 hotel rooms to markets across KSA, the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Turkey and Iraq.

This year’s openings include Studio M Al Barsha and Millennium Place Mirdif in the UAE, Grand Millennium Gizan in KSA and Grand Millennium Al Seef Basra in Iraq.
