Corinthia Hotels announces new luxury Maldives resort

Initial construction has begun on the 73-room Corinthia Maldives in the Kaafu Atoll 

Corinthia Hotels has announced that the first phase of the development of a new resort located on the Kaafu Atoll in the Maldives.

Corinthia Maldives will span two islands, hosting a resort on the larger one and a private island reserve on the second.

The Corinthia Maldives will comprise 73 rooms

The luxury resort will feature aquatic-inspired architecture designed by global firm HKS with the main pavilion and villas taking on forms that are inspired by the local manta ray. 

On site amenities will include wellness and fitness facilities and a choice of five restaurants operated by internationally renowned brands.
