It's not your usual job in travel – but it's highly sought after
Soneva Fushi, a five-star luxury resort in the Baa Atoll in the Maldives, has opened applications for a new 'Barefoot Bookseller'.
Working in partnership with Ultimate Library, the resort has been hosting pop-up bookshops since 2018. The campaign to find the right candidate to run them has captured the imagination of the world, becoming a winning PR campaign.
But it's not just about putting Soneva Fushi front of mind. The ideal candidate will be kept busy writing a blog and hosting literary events and workshops.
