Enhancements will include colour-coded parking, lounge aroma and accepting Russian rubles in Duty Free
Dubai International Airport (DXB) is rolling out developments in the next few months to further "enhance the guest experience".
The world’s busiest international airport will introduce a colour-coded parking system, which is aimed at making it easier for passengers to find their cars after they disembark a long-haul flight.

In other updates, from 1 August 2024, select duty-free shops at DXB have started accepting Russian rubles, and a new signature aroma is to be introduced to the airport’s Al Majlis lounge to create a more welcoming atmosphere for VIP guests.
Also on the horizon is a new advanced queue management system, which is expected to facilitate faster check-in with more passengers than ever passing through the international flight hub.
