Partnership will benefit up to 155 million students worldwide
Dubai College of Tourism (DCT) has formed a strategic partnership with online learning platform Coursera to bring its hospitality and tourism courses to millions of global students.
The collaboration will see DCT introduce 16 new courses focused on hospitality marketing, budgeting and events, revenue management, inventory management, front office operations and housekeeping.
The global hospitality sector is expected to grow to US$4.99 trillion this year with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.8%.
In the GCC, the industry is expected to grow at a CAGR of 7.5% between 2023 and 2028, reflecting the region’s continued investment in the sector.

DCT’s partnership with Coursera is designed to address a talent gap and support efforts to equip learners across the region and beyond with the skills needed to thrive in one of the world’s fastest-growing industries.
