London tops consumer poll of vibrant destinations
Dubai is one of the world’s most lovable cities, alongside London, Paris and New York, according to a global report.
The 2025 World’s Best Cities report, compiled by marketing consultancy Resonance in collaboration with market research company Ipsos, surveyed 22,000 people in 30 countries.
The top 10 “most lovable” is a who’s who of must-visit metropolises, six of which are in Europe.
Dubai’s status in the ‘lovability’ stakes earned it eighth spot, cementing its status as a global playground.

London claimed the top spot, with its world-renowned museums and nightlife. It pipped Paris, which was rated highly for its shopping and sightseeing.
New York is the world’s third most lovable city, thanks to its cultural offerings including Broadway and its top-tier dining, followed by Tokyo, Rome and Barcelona.
Madrid was rated one spot ahead of Dubai and was noted for its investment in its parks and outdoor spaces.
The top 10 was rounded out by Berlin, acclaimed for its edgy vibe, and Singapore, whose lovability spanned its incredible food scene, from street stalls to fine dining, as well as its shopping and urban planning.
