Emirates launches extensive cabin crew recruitment drive

The Dubai-based roles include a tax-free salary, staff travel and accommodation

Emirates has announced that it is looking for talented people with a passion for service to join its growing cabin crew team.

With submissions now open, candidates are invited to apply online, with successful applicants being invited to dedicated interview days.

The airline’s recruiters are meeting and hiring candidates in 30 cities from now until the end of June. In this latest drive, Emirates’ teams will travel from Australia to the UK, visiting dozens of European cities and destinations in the Middle East including Cairo, Algiers, Tunis and Bahrain. 

Emirates Group’s executive vice-president for human resources, Abdulaziz Al Ali, said: “There’s no more exciting airline than Emirates for anyone interested in a flying career, and we’ve received tremendous interest since we began our recruitment drive for cabin crew in November.

“While parts of the application process are done online, we always make the effort to meet our candidates in person whenever we can, and that is why our talent acquisition team is doing a whirlwind 30-city tour over the next six weeks to assess prospective candidates.”

All Emirates cabin crew are based in Dubai and have access to several benefits. These include concessional travel tickets, a tax-free salary, 30 days’ paid annual leave, highly discounted flight tickets for family and friends to travel the world, furnished accommodation and the chance to learn transferable skills at the training academy.

Emirates’ cabin crew team currently represents 160 nationalities, reflecting its customer mix and international operations in more than 130 cities on six continents.
