Four Seasons to open luxury resort in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE

Project will form part of a two-island waterfront development

Four Seasons is set to expand its footprint in the UAE with a new beach resort in Ras Al Khaimah, marking the brand’s debut in the northern emirate.

Bart Carnahan, President of Global Business Development at Four Seasons, said the move represented a “significant milestone in our strategic expansion within the UAE”.

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Ras Al Khaimah will join a growing collection of Four Seasons properties, including two in Dubai and one in Abu Dhabi.

The new property, in partnership with RAK Properties, will form part of a two-island development called Mina. Nestled within two million square metres of protected mangroves, the island will feature 18km of coastline, 5km of private beaches and views of the Arabian Gulf and Hajar mountains.

The Four Seasons resort will offer 150 rooms, suites and signature villas, as well as 130 private two-to-five-bedroom residences, all with sweeping sea views.

Amenities will include an extensive wellness area with a beauty salon and 10 treatment rooms, family and adult pools, padel, tennis and basketball courts, a well-equipped fitness centre, a ballroom and indoor and outdoor event spaces.

For children and young adults, there will be a dedicated social space where the brand’s signature Kids For All Seasons programme will run.

The resort will also feature secluded beaches and a dedicated marina for connectivity to nearby islands, and with easy access to Mina’s Yacht club, Wharf and Boulevard with its waterfront restaurants, spas and boutiques.

Located an hour from the Dubai International airport and 30 minutes from the Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, Mina will eventually be home to a collection of resorts from world-class brands, including Nikki Beach, Anantara and InterContinental.
