Carrier ups weekly flights from 21 to 37 and introduces summer destinations
Gulf Air has added an extra 16 flights between Doha and Bahrain each week.
This takes the number of flights connecting Bahrain’s capital of Manama and the Qatari capital from 21 to 37 flights a week.
The move by Bahrain’s national carrier aims to provide passengers with greater flexibility, improve regional connectivity and increase the number of leisure and business travellers to both destinations.
An airline spokesman said: “The increase reflects our dedication to the Qatari market and our continued efforts to enhance our services to meet the needs of our passengers.”

The airline’s summer schedule, from June to September, sees the introduction of new routes to Geneva and Rhodes, plus the resumption of flights to Malaga and Mykonos.
Gulf Air, which celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2025, expects to carry up to six million passengers this year. In the first quarter of 2024, passenger volumes grew 5% year-on-year.
