Hilton to open Waldorf Astoria hotel in Saudi Arabia's Holy City

The 300-key Medina hotel will launch in 2028

Hilton hotel group is partnering with Saudi hospitality and real estate company Taiba Investments to introduce the Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts brand to Medina (Madinah).

The collaboration will see Taiba Investments renovate the existing Taiba Front Hotel, rebranding it as a Waldorf Astoria property.

Set to officially open in 2028, Waldorf Astoria Al Madinah will have more than 300 guest rooms and suites and three high-end dining concepts. It will also offer two multi-functional halls, a boardroom, a private club lounge, a prayer room and a fitness centre.

Located on the northern side of Medina's main mosque, the hotel will provide guests with direct views of the holy site, which is just a few minutes’ walk away.
