Jason Atherton’s Row on 45 to launch new menu

Michelin-starred experience at Grosvenor House, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Dubai will cost US$311 a head

Famous British chef Jason Atherton’s newly awarded two-Michelin-starred Dubai restaurant Row on 45 – located at Grosvenor House, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Dubai – is set to launch a new menu on 3 September 2024.

The 17-course gastronomic experience caters to just 22 guests per seating and will AED1,145 (US$311) per person.

Diners can choose between vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus, each paired with wines selected by esteemed head sommelier, Lorenzo Abussi.

The complete menu will only be unveiled to guests upon arrival, offering a sense of surprise, but the degustation will include dishes such as reimagined British classic, crab on toast, Wagyu beef and a selection of premium seafood, from amaebi, a sweet shrimp from Japan's Ishikawa Prefecture to hand-dived scallops from the island of Frøya in Norway.

The venue is designed to resemble a luxury apartment and the culinary journey at Row on 45 unfolds in three acts. 'Act I: The Finest Welcome’ begins in the Champagne Lounge (lead picture) with appetisers.

'Act II: The Pinnacle’ takes place in the main dining room, with a state-of-the-art show kitchen displaying the chefs crafting each dish with precision.

'Act III: The Grand Finale’ concludes in the Chef’s Library, where classic British and Japanese desserts will be served. 

Earlier this month, the TV series Dubai Disheshosted by Atherton and promoting dining experiences in Dubai, returned to screens for a second season, airing on UK channel ITV1, from 3 August 2024.
