KAFD-located property features four dining venues and an outdoor rooftop pool
IHG has opened its first Kimpton property in the Middle East, bringing the boutique hotel brand, recognised for contemporary design and experience focused hospitality, to the region.
Kimpton KAFD Riyadh will be followed by the opening of Kimpton Dubai in the first quarter of 2026, joining the design-led brand’s established presence in cities such as London, Los Angeles, Monaco, New York and Paris.
Located in the heart of the King Abdullah Financial District, the kingdom’s first vertical city, Kimpton KAFD Riyadh rises 16 floors and connects guests via skywalks to the metro and nearby dining, retail and entertainment venues.
The 212-room property offers a range of accommodations from ‘essential rooms’ to one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and penthouse suites with sweeping views from the bath.
Prices for stays in the opening month range from AED1,860 to AED2,940 per night.
All rooms combine colourful furnishings with art from local designers, and come with plush bedding, walk-in showers, yoga mats, minibars stocked with locally sourced treats and generous workspaces.
Dining takes place across four distinct venues. Botanica is a lush, greenery-filled all-day social dining spot focused on shareable dishes, while Ziya lounge in the lobby provides an elegant setting serving salads, pizzas and sandwiches.

Tucked beside the pool, Kanza serves casual sharable plates, while The Vinyl Ember combines a speakeasy-inspired setting with an open-fire grill, inventive mocktails and a rotating playlist.
The hotel also hosts daily Kimpton social hours, where complimentary drinks and light bites are served.
Facilities include an outdoor rooftop pool, a fully equipped fitness centre and flexible meeting spaces fitted with modern technology suitable for business and social events.
Rabih Beaino, General Manager of Kimpton KAFD Riyadh, said, “This property is not just another hotel — it’s a new chapter for Riyadh. We want guests to feel at home and come away with experiences that surprise and stay with them.”
Guests can also benefit from IHG One Rewards, enabling access to exclusive rates and loyalty benefits across IHG’s global network.
Following this, Kimpton Dubai is set to open in early 2026 in Business Bay. Featuring 280 rooms, three dining concepts, a rooftop pool, spa, fitness centre, and seven meeting spaces, it will further expand the brand’s presence in the Middle East luxury lifestyle hotel market.
