Mercure debuts in Oman with 186-key hotel

Muscat hotel adds to group's growing portfolio in the region 

Accor hotel brand Mercure has debuted its first hotel in Oman, with the soft opening of Mercure Muscat.

The 186-key Mercure Muscat is a 15-minute drive from Muscat International Airport. 

Offering guests panoramic views of the city, mountains and coastline, the hotel uses Arabic calligraphy as a design statement in rooms and urban art on the building’s exterior.

Mercure Muscat's range of facilities includes an outdoor swimming pool on the seventh floor with a Jacuzzi, a health club and spa.

Catering to the MICE market, it's equipped with versatile meeting and event spaces, accommodating up to 450 people.

Dining options include an all-day dining restaurant, lobby café, pool bar and a specialty Asian Fusion eatery. Mercure Muscat also offers an authentic culinary experience rooted in Omani culture through the brand's ‘Discover Local’ programme.
