Hotels will be helmed by one Multi-Property General Manager
Mohamed El Aghoury is returning to Marriott to oversee two of its Dubai hotels.
As Multi-Property General Manager, El Aghoury will oversee Dubai's Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort and Aloft Palm Jumeirah. The appointment marks a new chapter for both properties.
Throughout his career, El Aghoury has held leadership roles at hotels across the Middle East and Asia in popular destinations such as Dubai, Egypt and the Maldives.
El Aghoury was previously at the helm of Marriott's Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa, where he oversaw extensive renovations.

El Aghoury also has experience of running multiple properties as Cluster General Manager for The Meydan Hotel & Hospitality Cluster. Here, El Aghoury oversaw hotels including The Meydan Hotel, Bab Al Shams Resort & Spa and Meydan Beach Club.
According to a Marriott spokesperson, El Aghoury’s "strategic vision and operational ability" will be pivotal in "maintaining Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort's reputation, while further solidifying Aloft Palm Jumeirah's position as a vibrant, lifestyle hotel in Dubai".
Commenting on his appointment, El Aghoury said: “It's a privilege to return to both Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort and Aloft Palm Jumeirah.
