Nonya restaurant brings the heart of Southeast Asia to Dubai

The pan-Asian restaurant with Singaporean and Peranakan influences has opened in Dubai’s JLT neighbourhood

Set on the 44th floor of the Taj Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Asian concept Nonya has officially opened.

The newest addition to JLT’s hub of restaurants offers both indoor and outdoor seating, a full bar and private dining areas.

Guests can enjoy dishes such as Nonya curry; Hainanese chicken; chilli crab, and comforting bowls of laksa

Speaking about the offering, Nonya head chef  Kong Sieng Yeuh said: “What sets Nonya apart from other pan-Asian restaurants in Dubai is that Nonya is a culture. Nonya blends aesthetics, flavours, specially imported ingredients and cooking methods from Singapore, Malaysia, China and other parts of Southeast Asia.”

Speaking about the opening, general manager Mohit Gurnani said: “Nonya’s opening is a delightful addition to our dining portfolio. More than the interesting food and drinks, it’s the experience connoisseurs will appreciate. When in Nonya, the interior gives you the feel of exclusivity – a place which is mysterious, chic and elegant.”
