GCC resident's visa must be valid for a minimum of three months from the date of entering Oman
GCC residents are no longer required to apply for a visa before entering Oman.
The Directorate General of Passports and Residence and Oman Airports released a circular stating that the new rule is applicable to people of all professions.
Prior to the new regulation, GCC residents were required to apply for an e-visa via an official government portal before travelling to Oman.

The circular also clarified that residents don’t need to travel directly from a GCC country to enter visa-free, stating that entry is “permitted at any time and from any destination they arrive from.”
However, a GCC visitor's residency visa must be valid for a minimum of three months from the date of entering Oman.
