The hotels will offer wellness journeys and outdoor activities in nature
Sustainable hospitality brand Our Habitas has announced the addition of three new hotels in Leyja, NEOM’s latest sustainable tourism destination in northwest Saudi Arabia.
The destination has been developed within a natural wadi and carved between 400 metre-high mountains that have been crafted over centuries by nature.
Starting from the Gulf of Aqaba coast and winding inland, Leyja guests will walk from the destination’s experience centre to each property, allowing them to take in the dramatic landscape.

The three properties, which will house 120 rooms and suites between them, have been named Home of Wellness, Home of Adventure and Oasis, related to each property's specialities.
The design for the Home of Adventure traces the topography of the wadi, allowing guests to partake in activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking, horse riding and treks.
Situated further into the wadi, the Oasis naturally rises alongside the mountains. Here guests can stargaze and enjoy culinary experiences that include a Chef-in-Residence programme.
The Home of Wellness will play host to global longevity experts while offering innovative wellness practices and ancient rituals.

Guests will be encouraged to experience each of the three hotels as part of a journey in the region.
All journeys will commence at the coastal experience centre, at the entrance of the wadi. On arrival, guests will be invited to embrace Our Habitas’ signature welcome ceremony – a five-minute ritual that grounds each visitor in their purpose for coming and their intentions for the journey ahead – before learning more about the region.
Our Habitas co-founder and CEO Oliver Ripley said: “This project is truly unique and visionary. The natural beauty is otherworldly, the architecture and design remarkable, and the experience will offer our community an ever-deeper journey of discovery and transformation, both of themselves and their connection to the natural world around them.”
