Qatar Airways to expand German network

The national carrier will start flying to Dusseldorf in June

Qatar Airways has announced plans to add another city to its network in Germany where it currently serves three destinations, Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich.

Qatar Airways will launch a daily service between Dusseldorf and Doha this summer and the airline has already begun advertising for ground staff to work at Dusseldorf airport.

A spokesperson for Dusseldorf Airport said: “Qatar Airways is preparing to start a route from Dusseldorf; the new long-haul connection to Doha will provide passengers with further options for making connections.”

Fellow GCC carrier Emirates, currently flies daily to Dusseldorf from Dubai.
