GCC airlines score highly in new ranking based on customer feedback
Multiple Arabian Gulf airlines have landed in the top 10 of a newly released ranking based on the quality of inflight meals in economy-, business- and first-class cabins.
MoneySuperMarket’s travel insurance team analysed more than 27,000 passenger reviews across more than 100 airlines to determine the world's best inflight dining experiences.
Swiss International Air Lines topped the poll for the world's best first class dining, scoring 9 out of 10 among passengers, while the UAE's Etihad Airways and Emirates placed fifth and ninth on the list respectively.
In the business class ranking, Kuwait Airways topped the poll, followed by Bahrain's Gulf Air in second place, with Qatar Airways ranking in sixth place.
In the economy class inflight dining listing, Emirates came fifth, Etihad Airways came sixth and Qatar Airways came ninth.
