Rotana opens second hotel in Egypt

Palma Bay Resort has 176 keys, including three-bedroom suites

UAE-based Rotana hotel group has doubled its footprint in Egypt with the opening of Palma Bay Rotana, situated at Marina 5 in the country’s New Alamein region. 

The new four-star resort joins the group's Grand Rotana Resort & Spa in Sharm El Sheikh, taking Rotana’s total number of keys in Egypt to 702.

Palma Bay Rotana has 176 rooms, from a standard category to one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites.

Styled with a modern contemporary aesthetic, guests can select their preferred view, with accommodations facing the ocean, the pool lagoon, or vibrant neighbourhood. 

Facilities include a Bodylines Health and Fitness Centre, massage rooms, sauna and steam rooms, and three outdoor swimming pools, including one for children and a playground, plus padel and tennis courts, a beach volleyball space, and a multipurpose court for football and basketball.

Dining venues include Atrium, the lobby lounge and terrace; Horizon, the all-day dining restaurant; Nasma, an all-day beach lounge offering shisha; two relaxed pool bars (The Deck and Aquarius), and a beach bar.
