Carrier will fly to Al Maktoum, Zayed International and Sharjah International airports
Saudi Arabia’s budget airline Flynas has unveiled an expansion plan that will see it add new routes to its UAE network.
The low-cost carrier currently flies to Dubai International (DXB) from Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Madinah.
From September, it will add routes to three more airports in the UAE: Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport (AUH) and Sharjah International Airport (SHJ).
The move is part of its contribution to Saudi Arabia’s National Civil Aviation Strategy, an initiative that seeks to connect Saudi with 250 international destinations by 2030.

On 1 September 2024, Flynas will launch flights from Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport to Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport; from Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport to Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport and Sharjah International Airport, and from Madinah's Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport to Sharjah International Airport.
The following day, on 2 September, the carrier will launch flights from Madinah to Abu Dhabi. The expansion of the network increases Flynas' flights to the UAE to more than 20 a day and makes it the only Saudi Arabian airline serving all the four major airports in the UAE.
Since launching in 2007, Flynas has served more than 80 million passengers with more than 1500 flights a week to more than 70 destinations. The airline plans to expand its network to 165 destinations by the end of the decade.
