Sofitel to open in Ras Al Khaimah

The Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort will open in Al Hamra in 2023

Hotel group Accor is collaborating with Al Hamra, the leading real estate development and investment company in Ras Al Khaimah, to launch the first Sofitel property in the region. The hotel will be aimed at British travellers with a mix of sustainable and luxury hospitality.

Ras Al Khaimah’s varied landscape stretches from the highest mountain in the UAE to terracotta deserts, lush mangroves and white sandy beaches. It has the longest stretch of coastline in the UAE.

Less than an hour’s drive from Dubai International Airport, nestled between the Arabian Gulf and Hajar Mountains, the resort is set alongside a private beach, surrounded by landscaped gardens, making it an appealing holiday escape for Brits.

The resort will be strategically located in the centre of the Al Hamra tourism destination, offering guests direct access to a range of leisure, retail and business facilities, among them Al Hamra Golf Club’s s championship 18-hole golf course; Al Hamra Marina and Yacht Club; Al Hamra International Exhibition and Conference Centre (AHIECC) and Al Hamra Mall.

The property will have 300 rooms, suites and villas with garden, golf course or sea views, plus six restaurants serving global cuisine
