Resorts will be located in Dakhiliyah and Dhofar
The Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran) has partnered with Santani Wellness Resorts to launch two new properties in Oman, marking the brand's first retreats outside of Sri Lanka.
The strategic alliance will help boost Oman’s position as a leading destination for wellness tourism, aligning with its Vision 2040 for sustainable growth.
The first to be developed will be Jabal Shams Santani. Focused on weight and stress management, detoxification and yoga, programming at the resorts, which will collectively add 182 hotel rooms to Oman's portfolio, will be tailored to individual needs and designed to promote holistic wellbeing.

Santani gets its name from the Sanskrit term meaning 'in harmony with'. Established in 2016, it draws inspiration from Sri Lankan Ayurveda traditions. The brand’s flagship property, Santani Wellness Kandy in Sri Lanka, was listed among the World’s 100 Greatest Places by TIME magazine.
With three existing retreats in Sri Lanka, Santani has plans for eight additional properties including the Oman outposts.
Santani CEO Vickum Nawagamuwage said: "Our shared vision for health, wellbeing and environmental stewardship will allow us to provide unparalleled wellness experiences while preserving the locations' natural beauty and cultural heritage."
Launch dates have not yet been confirmed.
