Franchise celebrates 7% growth year-on-year as Middle East division prepares to host annual agents awards

Travel Counsellors has welcomed 297 business owners in the past year, representing 7% growth year-on-year and taking the total number of homeworkers worldwide to 2,121, the company reported last month.

Of the 297 recruits in the past 12 months, more than 100 were new to the travel industry.

Travel Counsellors operates across the UAE, the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium and South Africa.

The company said its recruitment growth coincided with the ongoing investment in homeworkers’ personal development. Over the past year, 330 agents had taken part in dedicated training sessions designed to explore new business opportunities and strategies for success.

This month, the UAE division of Travel Counsellors will host the annual conference and gala awards dinner, hosted by Kris Fade, celebrating local agents' achievements, on 19 September at Al Habtoor Palace hotel in Dubai.
