Wizz Air Abu Dhabi rolls out region's first flight subscription scheme

Wizz MultiPass costs from AED259 per month, providing passengers with fixed-price year-round fares

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, the ultra-low-fare national airline of the UAE, has launched its new Wizz MultiPass flight subscription service, enabling travellers to fly once a month on international flights from and to the UAE for a fixed fee during their 12-month subscription period.

The monthly MultiPass fare remains consistent, unaffected by destination, seasonal changes or last-minute bookings, and costs from AED259 (US$71).

By purchasing an annual subscription, UAE travellers can select one-way or return flights and choose whether to add the Wizz Priority service and/or baggage allowance. 

Subscription 

• A 'Ticket Only' plan costs AED259 for a one-way ticket, or AED519 for a return. 
• A 'Ticket + Wizz Priority' plan costs AED369 for one-way and AED739 for a return and a 'Ticket + 20kg checked-in bag' costs AED423 one way and AED847 return. 
• A Ticket + Wizz Priority and 20kg of checked-in baggage costs AED533 one-way and AED1,067 return.

The subscription includes all taxes and fees. Additional services can be added and paid for before the flight if needed using the 'Check-in & Bookings' page.

According to the airline, the ticket-only MultiPass can help passengers save up to 40% on tickets between even the most popular summer destinations this year.

Johan Eidhagen managing director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi said: “The MultiPass is a smart innovation that provides more flexibility for our most loyal and savvy customers, ensuring they can access our best fares year-round.”

Customers will be able to book their travel straight away and fly as soon as five days after signing up. 

Wizz Air currently flies from the UAE capital to Malé in Maldives; Baku in Azerbaijan; Medina in Saudi Arabia; Muscat in Oman; the Egyptian cities of Cairo and Alexandria, Amman in Jordan and Ankara in Turkey, among other destinations.
