First look: FIVE Zurich

Dubai-based FIVE Hotels & Resorts’ first international outpost is now open in Zürich. The 87-room boutique hotel is a chip off the old block. Surrounded by a quintessential Swiss landscape, complete with hiking trails and giddy goats tinkling their collar bells, even giddier guests party until dawn inside. Like the Dubai originals, the hotel houses an Asian Maiden Shanghai restaurant, a funky Soul St eatery and the Penthouse. Exciting additions include the Bathroom Bar – a bar that extends to a unisex bathroom for those who like to socialise in the powder room. Indoor and outdoor pools provide ample opportunity to recover and show off designer swimwear.
