Flyadeal to launch flights to Hyderabad, India

Saudi Arabia’s low-cost carrier Flyadeal is set to launch its first-ever India route, operating flights between Riyadh and Hyderabad from 1 July 2026. 

The daily service will operate between Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport (RUH) and Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD). Flights will depart Riyadh at 23:20, arriving at 06:50 the next day, while return services will leave Hyderabad at 07:55, reaching Saudi at 11:05. The route will be serviced by an Airbus A320neo aircraft configured with 186 Economy seats.

India will become Flyadeal’s second South Asian market joining Pakistan. Previously, the airline only operated special flights for pilgrims during the Hajj and Umrah seasons, offering select point-to-point travel from India.

Sanjiv Kapoor, Flyadeal acting Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President, Strategies at Saudia Group, said that India is a much-awaited destination for the airline. He added that a second India route is expected to launch shortly after Hyderabad services begin.

“Hyderabad is the first step of our planned expansion into India, fuelled by the strong economic, social and cultural ties that India and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have enjoyed for decades,” said Kapoor.

Located in the southern Indian state of Telangana, Hyderabad is known for its historical landmarks such as the 16th-century Charminar mosque and Golconda Fort. The city is also a major technology hub, hosting campuses for global companies including Amazon, Google and Microsoft.

Flyadeal also recently unveiled 12 new routes for its summer 2026 programme, including first-time services to Milan, Italy and Prague, Czech Republic. In line with Saudi Vision 2030, the carrier aims to serve more than 100 destinations by the end of the decade, expanding its current network of 40 cities.
