Back-to-back Gulf seasons highlight rising demand from regional cruise travellers
MSC Cruises’ LNG-powered MSC World Europa will return to the Middle East for the 2027–28 winter season, marking the ship’s second consecutive regional deployment, according to itineraries published on the line’s website.
The 4,400-guest ship, which made its Middle East debut in winter 2022–23, is scheduled to operate Arabian Gulf sailings for both 2026–27 and 2027–28 winter seasons, underscoring MSC Cruises’ long-term commitment to the regional cruise market.
Ahead of the 2027-28 season, it will reposition to the Arabian Gulf on a 21-night voyage to Dubai departing in late November 2027. The itinerary will span destinations across the Mediterranean and the Middle East, including Civitavecchia, Naples, Piraeus, Marmaris, Limassol and Alexandria, as well as Muscat and Doha before arriving in Dubai.
Once in the region, MSC World Europa’s Gulf programme is expected to mirror its 2026–27 itineraries, offering seven-night cruises interporting between Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha, with additional calls likely at Bahrain, Sir Bani Yas Island and other regional ports.
