New GM appointed for Al Raha Beach Resort in Abu Dhabi

Diksha Singh has been appointed General Manager for Al Raha Beach Resort & Spa, Abu Dhabi. With more than two decades of hospitality experience across India and the UAE, Singh brings extensive expertise in hotel operations, human resources and talent development, along with a deep understanding of international markets. 

Singh began her career at The Oberoi, New Delhi, before moving to the Grand Hyatt hospitality group, where she spent 20 years working across multiple properties. Most recently, she served as General Manager of Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel & Residences Emirates Pearl, where she led a strong commercial recovery following the pandemic.  

Under her leadership, the property received numerous industry accolades, including Best Hotel for Weddings and MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) at the 2023 Arabian Travel Awards.

At Al Raha, Singh will focus on enhancing guest experiences, strengthening leadership culture and positioning the property as one of Abu Dhabi’s leading wellness destinations. Reflecting on her professional approach, Singh said: “Leadership is not a performance; it is a responsibility to people, culture and long-term impact.”  

Outside her role at the resort, Singh is an advocate for women in leadership and a member of The Luxury Collective, where she contributes to mentorship and professional development initiatives. 

Managed by Danat Hotels & Resorts, Al Raha Beach Resort & Spa first launched in 2005 and recently rebranded in January 2025, unveiling new spa facilities and a renewed focus on wellness. The 278-room property features a 900-metre private beach, seven restaurants and multiple meeting spaces.
