Low-cost carrier to operate a twice-weekly service from 27 October
Saudi Arabia’s low-cost airline Flyadeal will launch flights from Riyadh to Lahore, Pakistan, on 27 October.
The route becomes Flyadeal’s fifth destination in Pakistan in less than three months and increases its Pakistan network frequency to 18 flights per week.
It follows the introduction of services from Riyadh to Islamabad, Peshawar and Sialkot in August, building on the airline’s entry into the market earlier this year with flights to Karachi.
The new connection links Riyadh with Lahore, Pakistan’s second-largest city and cultural capital, home to landmarks such as Lahore Fort and Shalimar Gardens.
Operated twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays, the non-stop service will use an Airbus A320 aircraft configured with 186 economy seats.

Flights will depart Riyadh (RUH) at 07:55, arriving in Lahore (LHE) at 14:00, with the return flight leaving at 15:00 and reaching Riyadh at 18:00.
Steven Greenway, Flyadeal CEO, said: “We have accelerated our Pakistan expansion due to aircraft availability and market dynamics where demand played a big role in inducting the new Riyadh to Lahore flights sooner than expected.”
He added that the swift rollout reflects robust travel demand among Pakistan’s expatriate community in Saudi Arabia, estimated at more than 2.7 million workers.
The addition of Lahore comes as Flyadeal continues its growth trajectory, which includes a new route to Syria with three weekly flights from Jeddah to Damascus and four from Riyadh starting in October.
Operating a fleet of 42 aircraft across more than 30 destinations, Flyadeal plans to triple its network to over 100 destinations and expand its fleet beyond 100 aircraft by the end of the decade.
