Aquarabia debuts with 22 attractions, including kingdom’s first surf pool
Aquarabia Qiddiya City has opened following a soft launch on 20 March 2026 during the Eid Al Fitr period, adding to the destination’s expanding leisure offering located 40 minutes west of Riyadh.
Spanning 250,000 square metres, Aquarabia is recognised as the kingdom’s first and biggest water theme park, and among the largest in the Middle East. It features 22 attractions, including Saudi Arabia’s first surf pool designed to mimic ocean waves.
Notable rides include Speedy Jamezales, described as one of the world’s tallest Aqualoop slides, and Junoon Drop, with a dramatic 12-storey vertical plunge. For families, FusionFortress 18 provides an interactive water playground featuring smaller slides and water cannons for children, with 81 private cabanas across the site.
