Tulåh opens wellness destination in India

Dubai-based KEF Hospitality has expanded into India with the opening of Tulåh Clinical Wellness.

Located in northern Kerala, the retreat spans 30 acres of forests and medicinal gardens and features 65 suites and 14 treatment areas.

Programmes combine modern medicine, Ayurveda, nutrition and psychology, among other practices. Prior to arrival, guests undergo an assessment using the Tulåh Life Index, which is designed to tailor treatment plans.

Diagnostic services include biomarker analysis, cardiovascular screening and microbiome testing. The retreat has partnered with Meitra Hospital, providing access to more than 200 specialists for advanced and follow-up care.

The destination is anchored by The Sonorium, described by Tulåh as the world’s largest sound healing dome. Additional therapies include hyperbaric oxygen therapy, cryotherapy and photobiomodulation.

Traditional practices such as Panchakarma are offered alongside newer technologies, including the world’s first Ayurvedic Vichy bed. The patented system is designed to enhance traditional oil-based therapies. Influences from Chinese and Tibetan medicine are also incorporated into the wellness offering.

The property incorporates sustainability measures, including rainwater harvesting systems and energy-efficient cooling technology.

Following its Kerala debut, Tulåh plans to expand through additional wellness hubs and home-based care services across India.

India remains a popular wellness tourism destination, with the country ranking among the top destinations for UAE residents seeking Ayurveda and spiritual experiences in 2025, according to travel platform Musafir.
