Selection features 44 dining destinations, including a new one-starred establishment
The Michelin Guide has revealed its 2026 selection for Doha, spotlighting 44 restaurants, including one newly awarded with a Michelin star. The Qatar capital now boasts three Michelin-starred restaurants, its highest count to date.
Winners were unveiled during a ceremony for the guide’s second edition at The St Regis Doha on 9 December 2025. This year’s list introduces 12 new entries and celebrates two restaurants promoted to higher Michelin distinctions.
Italian venue Alba has become Doha’s newest one-Michelin-starred restaurant, elevated from last year’s Selected category. The restaurant was recognised for its refined signature dishes featuring premium ingredients, including Balfegó tuna imported from Europe. IDAM by Alain Ducasse, offering contemporary French cuisine, and Jamavar, serving Indian delicacies, both retained their one-star status for another year.
Bib Gourmand distinctions were awarded to four new restaurants, taking the total number in the guide to eight. Establishments in this category are recognised for their high-quality cuisine offered at accessible prices. Berenjak Al Maha, Fenyal and Mila made their debut appearances, while Baron was promoted from the Selected restaurant category.

Koo Madame, inspired by 1920s Shanghai, received the ‘Opening of the Year Award’, and yūn was granted the ‘Exceptional Cocktail/Mocktail Award’ for its signature tea-based creations.
Michelin continues to expand its presence in the Middle East, having recently launched its inaugural guide in Saudi Arabia, with 2026 highlights including 52 restaurants across Jeddah, Riyadh and AlUla.
