Abu Dhabi adds 13 countries to its green list

Residents can now travel to 35 destinations without having to quarantine on return

Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism has updated its green list, adding 13 countries but removing nine.

There are now 35 destinations that Abu Dhabi residents can travel to without having to quarantine upon their returnThe additions to the list are Albania, Armenia, Belgium, Canada, France, Hungary, Jordan, the Netherlands, Ireland, Romania, Seychelles, Turkmenistan and the Vatican City.

In the biggest update to the list so far, nine countries were also removed, namely Bhutan, Brunei, Finland, Greenland, Japan, Morocco, Portugal, Spain and Uzbekistan.

Travellers should note that not all countries on Abu Dhabi’s green list are open for non-essential travel. Travellers are advised to check the regulations and entry requirements for their desired destination.
