Hospitality giant Accor has opened its first Mercure-branded property in Saudi’s capital Riyadh.
The Mercure Riyadh Al Anood, located in the Al Murabba district, provides easy access to the city’s commercial and cultural landmarks, and is just 20km from King Khaled International Airport.
The property joins two other Mercure hotels in the kingdom, the Mercure Hotel Khamis Mushait and Mercure Makkah Aziziah.
The 135-key Mercure Riyadh Al Anood has five accommodation types, including the Junior Suite with a balcony, city views and a Nespresso machine.
For dining, the hotel serves international and Arabic dishes at Les Bernaches Restaurant, with live cooking stations. La Vie Café Lounge dishes up light meals and La Maison Pool Lounge on the terrace serves drinks and snacks with views of the city.
As well as the swimming pool, the rooftop wellness centre includes a fitness centre and spa services, such as massages, a sauna and steam baths.
