Fourth edition of gourmet guide to launch at Address Sky View hotel

Dubai’s best restaurants in 2025 will be celebrated in the city’s dedicated Michelin Guide, launching on 22 May.

The world-renowned gourmet guide, now in its fourth edition in the emirate, is a reflection of the investment made by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and the city's growing status as a foodie destination.

The launch will be held at the Address Sky View hotel in Downtown with an invite-only ceremony announcing and celebrating the establishments worthy of the guide’s star rating in 2025.

The evening will include a specially curated selection of canapés by acclaimed chefs who guests will be able to see in action, including Niko Romito from Dubai's two-Michelin-starred II Ristorante.

Other Michelin-starred Dubai restaurants represented at the event will include Moonrise, DUO Gastrobar and 3Fils, joined by L'Argine a Vencò, a one-Michelin-starred restaurant featured in Michelin Guide Italy 2025.

Guest chefs with Michelin-starred restaurants

Last year the Michelin Guide Dubai had four two-star, 15 one-star, three Green-star, 18 Bib Gourmand and 68 Selected restaurants. To date, a Dubai restaurant has never been awarded three stars.

Restaurants are recognised by Michelin inspectors for quality of ingredients, mastery of cooking techniques, harmony of flavours, expression of the chef’s personality, and consistency.

Sister city Abu Dhabi is also home to a Michelin Guide and the inaugural Michelin Guide Doha 2025 was launched in December 2024.

Cementing the UAE city's reputation as a culinary destination, Dubai took 19 spots in the fourth edition of the Middle East & North Africa's (MENA) 50 Best Restaurants awards, including four in the top five. Dubai’s Orfali Bros Bistro was named the best restaurant in the MENA region for the third consecutive year.
