Cairo Downtown Nile will welcome guests in January 2025
Accor will open its fourth Sofitel property in Egypt early next year.
The 615-key Sofitel Cairo Downtown Nile will open in January 2025 following a conversion, becoming the largest Sofitel hotel in the world.
The hotel will have four dining venues, including riverside options with Nile views, a wellness centre and spa, a pool and a fitness centre, and more than 2,000 square metres of events space.
As well as offering direct access to the Nile, the hotel is located near attractions such as the upcoming Grand Egyptian Museum and the Giza Pyramids.
The hotel joins sister properties Sofitel Cairo Nile El Gezirah, Sofitel Winter Palace Luxor and Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Aswan also located in Egypt.
The hotel will be operated under a management agreement with the International Company for Touristic Investments.
