UAE capital’s low-cost carrier to ramp up services to Multan and Faisalabad
Air Arabia Abu Dhabi is set to double its flights to cities in Pakistan, with increased frequencies to Multan and Faisalabad starting September 2025.
Flights to Multan, a major cultural, religious and economic centre of the Punjab region, will increase from two a week to daily flights starting September.
These flights will depart Abu Dhabi at 13:10, arriving in Multan at 17:15. The return service leaves Multan at 17:55, landing in Abu Dhabi at 19:45.
Meanwhile, services to Faisalabad, Pakistan’s third-largest city, will see frequencies double to four times a week, with services scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Flights depart Abu Dhabi at 10:20 and arrive in Faisalabad at 14:40, with the return leg taking off at 15:20 and arriving back in Abu Dhabi at 17:10.

This move is part of the low-cost airline’s wider strategy to ramp up connectivity to Pakistan amid increasing demand, and from September will bring the airline’s total number of weekly flights to the country to 14, with a new Abu Dhabi-Sialkot service set to take off in July.
Marking the third Pakistan destination for Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, Sialkot is located in the north-east of the Punjab province in Pakistan at the foot of Kashmir hills near the Chenab River. The new Abu Dhabi-Sialkot route will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 17 July.
“Pakistan remains a key growth market for Air Arabia Abu Dhabi,” said Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia. “Our increased flights to Multan and Faisalabad reflect our ongoing commitment to providing affordable and reliable travel, while enhancing connectivity between the UAE and Pakistan.”
UAE-based Etihad has also recently doubled its daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Karachi, Pakistan’s busiest airport, providing a total of 28 weekly services to the country’s economic hub, as well as introducing flights to Peshawar, starting 29 September.
Together, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi and Etihad will provide more than 50 weekly flights from Abu Dhabi to Pakistan, connecting passengers with seven cities (Sialkot, Multan, Faisalabad, Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar).
As part of its broader growth strategy, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi is planning for a 40% increase in capacity in 2025.
Two new Airbus A320s will join the fleet this summer, plus two more planes are scheduled to arrive by year’s end, with a total of 14 aircraft to be in service by December 2025.
