Firepit-grilling with different varieties of wood is the concept
Created in collaboration with Atelier House Hospitality, 11 Woodfire is Goldfish chef Akmal Anuar’s latest restaurant.
11 Woodfire is committed to zero waste and sustainable practices. Guests can expect a simple menu that captures the 11 Woodfire’s ethos that less is more. The cuisine will showcase various grilling techniques with an array of wood types to create and enhance flavours.
Dishes will include meat, seafood and vegetarian options, from Wagyu kebab with fresh bread to king crab with lemon butter. Unlicensed, alcohol will not be served.
Located in a villa on Jumeirah Beach Road, the decor is cosy with a contemporary edge.

The curator and culinary force behind 11 Woodfire, Anuar’s passion for simplicity and authenticity will take centre stage.
“During my years of training, I never really found anything more interesting than the simplicity of natural flavours,” says Anuar.
Anuar started his culinary career early in life working on his parent’s hawker stall in Singapore. He has since worked with some of the finest chefs in the world, honing his skills and deepening his experience, ultimately leading him to create the 11 Woodfire concept.
