Bookings now open for the UAE emirate’s only marine-themed entertainment destination
Atlantis Dubai is set to launch The Lost World Aquarium on 27 October, marking a new chapter for the city’s only marine-themed entertainment destination.
Bookings are now open for the attraction, which blends cutting-edge technology, storytelling, live entertainment and education into a one-of-a-kind experience.
Housed within Atlantis, The Palm’s 17-year-old aquarium, the reinvented venue seamlessly integrates state-of-the-art animal habitats with cinematic projections, interactive displays and precision soundscapes spanning 14 themed rooms.
The aquarium uses more than 1,900 LED panels, 55 projectors and 140 speakers to fill the space with lights and sounds, creating an immersive ocean atmosphere for visitors.
A highlight of the experience is The Interactive Trident, a take-home device that unlocks up to 20 exclusive, multi-sensory moments, activating secret underwater visuals, synchronised light shows and sound sequences at each turn, giving visitors control of their own adventure.
The transformation also sees the venue expand its marine population to more than 65,000 creatures, with 430 new animals across 35 species such as the Axolotl, Striated Frogfish and Giant Pacific Octopus.

Nineteen new habitats have been introduced, each designed to spotlight ocean diversity and equipped with digital displays to deepen understanding of marine ecosystems.
Education is front and centre, with new behind-the-scenes tours allowing visitors to meet marine experts and discover the care that goes into species welfare.
Entertainment also takes on new scale with ‘Return of the Trident’, an original live mermaid show performed several times daily by a team of five professional underwater artists in the 10-metre-deep Ambassador Lagoon, one of the region’s largest open-air aquariums.
As an AZA-accredited attraction, The Lost World champions international animal welfare standards, reinforced by Atlantis Atlas Project, the resort’s flagship sustainability initiative promoting marine conservation and partnerships for environmental impact.
The Lost World Aquarium forms part of Aquaventure World, a powerhouse aquatic destination comprising the world’s largest waterpark – with more than 105 slides and attractions – a private beach, watersports and 26 marine experiences including Dolphin Bay and Shark Lagoon.
Guests staying at Atlantis, The Palm or Atlantis The Royal receive complimentary entry to both Aquaventure and The Lost World Aquarium.
For external visitors, tickets begin at AED85 for children and AED105 for adults, with combo waterpark passes starting from AED330 and AED380, respectively.
The Lost World Aquarium is open daily from 10am to 9pm, from 27 October.
