Line unveils ’Owns the Night’ initiative with night tours and double overnight stays
Azamara Cruises has launched an initiative to show passengers more destinations at night with double overnight stays, night tours and a ’Stories Under the Stars’ programme.
The line will offer 28 double overnight stays across its four-ship fleet on itineraries which will allow passengers to spend two consecutive nights in port.
One of the highlighted new double overnight experiences is on the Spain Cruise: Valencia, Malaga & Seville itinerary, where passengers spend two nights in Seville and can experience a flamenco evening at the Tablao El Arenal.
Another is on the Southeast Asia Cruise: Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City & Hong Kong cruise which will have two nights in Ho Chi Minh City where passengers have the opportunity to ride in an open-air Jeep and sample local delicacies.
The third is on the Bermuda & Caribbean Cruise itinerary which will see passengers spend two consecutive nights in Hamilton, Bermuda where they can book a sunset cruise and sample the island’s national rum cocktail.

Azamara Cruises will additionally offer more night tours with local guides to reveal the “after-hours spirit” of each destination.
These range from an evening at the Can Vivot palace with a Spanish guitar performance in Palma, Mallorca, to a stroll at sunset through the old town of Dubrovnik followed by a wine tasting in a secluded garden tucked into the city walls.
Other highlights include an evening in the fishing district of Malaga and a tour of the nightlife scene in Singapore.
The small-ship line will also launch a Stories Under the Stars programme on sailings longer than nine nights which will see speakers from the destination join passengers on the pool deck for “an evening of regional myths, folklore and storytelling”.
