The return of the route caters to growing demand
Zayed International Airport has welcomed the first British Airways flight from London Heathrow (LHR) to Abu Dhabi (AUH) following a four-year pause.
The return of the route connecting London, UK and Abu Dhabi, UAE adds to the growing list of international carriers now operating at Abu Dhabi's recently opened state-of-the-art Terminal A at Zayed International Airport.
London Heathrow is one of the top five destinations for passenger head count at Zayed International Airport with 290,000 passengers flying this route in the first quarter of 2024.
