Experience debuts on Lisbon sailing in October 2026
Crystal Cruises will expand its Wellness at Sea programme with a new seven-night retreat aboard Crystal Serenity, sailing round-trip from Lisbon from 11 to 17 October 2026.
The voyage will mark the at-sea debut of Sanctum, a Dutch-founded practice that blends high-intensity exercise, breathwork and meditative flow into a single guided experience. Sessions are delivered in a fully immersive, music-led format, with guests wearing wireless headphones to create a focused yet communal environment.
Each guest will receive two 55-minute Sanctum sessions during the voyage, with additional sessions available for US$100 each.
The move comes amid growing demand for immersive, expert-led experiences focused on mindfulness, longevity and movement.
Dalila Roglieri, Crystal’s Wellness Ambassador, said: “At Crystal, wellness is not an amenity; it is a philosophy woven into the guest journey. The addition of this retreat reflects the growing desire among our guests for programming that is both aspirational and deeply meaningful.”

Beyond Sanctum, the onboard programme includes a range of daily wellness experiences such as yoga sessions, sound healing, aerobics classes and sensory workshops. Guests will also have access to nutrition consultations and a lecture on longevity and performance optimisation.
The programme will be led by a team of wellness specialists, including longevity expert Dr Massimo Spattini, yoga and sound-healing practitioner Eva Estlander and dance and fitness specialist Vanessa Schummelfeder, among others.
The seven-day itinerary includes calls at Portimão, Casablanca, Agadir and Arrecife, with offshore excursions at each destination offering additional wellness-focused experiences. In Portimão, guests can explore the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail, known for its limestone cliffs and sea caves, while in Arrecife, guided hikes will showcase Lanzarote’s volcanic landscapes.
The expansion of the wellness programme comes as Crystal reports a rise in new-to-brand guests, with 48% of passengers in 2025 sailing with the line for the first time. The company also has bookings open for its upcoming 2028 and 2029 sailings, including world cruises for both years.
